Meet Josh Seldon!

Hailing from Bridgend, Wales, Josh brings with him 7 years of experience teaching across the primary phase - most recently as Year 1 Lead and Head of KS1 Provision in Dubai, following 6 brilliant years in Wales.

With a background in leading PE and Health & Wellbeing, Josh is passionate about creating fun, purposeful learning experiences that help children grow into the very best version of themselves.

A proud Welshman and a keen rugby player, Josh has taken to the pitch all around the world and now brings his energy and passion into the classroom.

He’s thrilled to be joining VHPS City of Arabia as a founding Year 1 teacher, and can’t wait to meet the children, connect with the team, and help shape something truly special from the very beginning.

We are excited to welcome Danielle and Charlotte to the Founding Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteachers, bringing with them extensive experience in leading Outstanding teams and previously serving as Year Leaders.

As Outstanding teachers themselves, they will be based within the classroom during our first year of operation, helping establish a rich culture of excellence in teaching and learning. Both are deeply passionate about creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences for children and are committed to enhancing teaching through ongoing high-quality professional development.

Danielle will lead on Curriculum and Standards, developing a rich and engaging curriculum while overseeing assessment and quality assurance. As part of her role, she will also lead on English.
Charlotte will lead on Teaching and Learning, ensuring that teachers benefit from a rigorous professional development programme aligned with their professional growth targets. She will also take the lead on Mathematics.

With their expertise, dedication, and vision, we know our students and staff are in exceptional hands!

Since joining Victory Heights Primary School in 2017, Rob has been a cornerstone of our leadership team, playing a vital role in securing 'Outstanding' ratings at our Dubai Sports City campus. With 14 years of educational experience and a passion for nurturing teachers, Rob is dedicated to driving excellence in teaching and learning.

Rob holds an MS in Education from Middlesex University, Dubai, where his research into global teacher professional development inspired the creation of our unique VHPS University programme. His commitment to empowering educators and shaping future-ready students is at the heart of everything he does.

We are thrilled to have Rob bring his expertise and vision to our new City of Arabia campus as Deputy Headteacher. Highly regarded by the VHPS community, Rob’s leadership promises continued success!
